Registration:Bridging the Gap offers programs in three areas; outdoor field trips, in-classroom presentations and gardening.
All programming is offered completely FREE to Grade 4 or Grade 4 split (grades 3-4 and 4-5) classrooms in qualifying schools. Qualifying schools are generally located within one of the City of Winnipeg's 13 designated Neighbourhoods Alive (NA) communities. Bridging the Gap also considers 2011 Census data on average household incomes to define low-income neighbourhoods. Therefore, if your school is not located within one of the City of Winnipeg's 13 designated NA communities, you may still qualify to participate in our programming based on your neighbourhood profile. We encourage you to contact us for more information. Does my classroom qualify?
